Third Annual Canna Ball NYC
Presented by The Black Institute
Cancelled!
This year’s Canna Ball NYC, scheduled for October 15, 2026, has been canceled.
This has been one of the hardest decisions we have had to make in The Black Institute’s 16-year history, and it truly saddens us.
Canna Ball NYC is more than a celebration. It is a space to recognize our community, build meaningful connections, and support the Black and Brown entrepreneurs whose voices and contributions deserve to be seen. We know many of you were looking forward to gathering with us, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and any disruption to your plans.
But October 15 will still mark an important beginning.
We had planned to unveil something special at this year’s event: The Green Book, our digital directory of Black- and Brown-owned cannabis businesses across New York. That launch will move forward, live on The Black Institute’s website on October 15 and we still want you to be a part of it.
We invite you to visit the directory, discover the businesses featured, and help connect others to this growing community. In November, we will also share reporting on the broken system facing Black cannabis businesses and why meaningful change cannot wait.
Canna Ball NYC will be back. We are determined to return bigger, better, and with even more purpose.
Thank you for standing with us not only for the celebration, but for the work behind it.
