The Black Institute: U.S. Department of Labor Investigates Filipino Teacher Recruitment

The U.S. Department of Labor launched an investigation into the recruitment of Filipino teachers to Prince George County, MD. Prince George County public school system has been ordered to repay over 1,000 international teachers $4.2 million for illegal payment of visa fees. As the employer and sponsor of the International teachers the public school system is required to pay all visa related fees. Click here for the full story.
