Bertha Lewis, President & Founder of The Black Institute will participate in an Immigration Panel at the National Action Network's National Convention along with New York Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and Bishop Orlando Findlayter, Chairman of Churches United to Save and Heal.
The Panel which is entitled "Immigration: Demanding Congressional Action" will be held this Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Ballroom of the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Other panelists include Maria Teresa Kumar, CEO & President of Voto Latino, Kerry Kennedy, President of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, Rafael Collazo, Campaign Political Director, National Council of La Raza (NCLR), Ralina Cordona, New York State Director & Special Assistant to National President for Multicultural Relations, League of United Latin American Citizen (LULAC).
